In Settings, you can change the default parameters of the application.
Default chart settings
You can turn on/off settings like: show ask line, show bid line, show position lines, show order line, show line ID, Colors and show L2 histogram. Select type of volume type: Tick volumes or Trade volumes.
Trading Settings
The trading may differ depending on the user's trading account (Net/Gross or Cash). Following are the settings that affect trading:
- Trade mode: Enable the trade mode – a way of placing and changing orders in the Terminal: Simple or Advanced.
- Trade confirmation: Show a confirmation dialogue when a new order is created.
- Unit of volume: Show trade volumes in lots or money.
- Gross PnL display mode: Select the currency to display Gross Profit/Loss: Deposit, Symbol Profit Currency (available only for Margin Accounts – Gross).
- Unit of SL/TP levels: number of points before displaying a warning: The warning is triggered when the TP/SL order price differs from the current price by the specified number of points.
- Custom min SL value (%) .
- Custom min TP value (%) .
- Order book: Order book depth, show my orders, show histogram, histogram type, histogram alignment.
- Last trades - show last trades (value must be between 10 and 200). The default value is 100.
- Symbol representation - show symbol`s logo, quote asset and symbol name format.
- Trading notification - turn on/off position status notification, order status notification, sound on trading notification.


Calendar and news
This screen helps set the number of events in the economic calendar and select filters for incoming events:
- Number of events in the Economic calendar: Set the number of incoming events.
- Filter by currency: Select the currencies of incoming events.
- Filter by country: Select the countries of incoming events.
- Financial data Filter: Select the options by which all the incoming financial data will be displayed on the 'Financial data' screen: All, Favorites, Portfolio, Favorites & Portfolio.
General
This screen contains various application settings:
- Language: Select the preferred application language.
- Time Zone: Set the time zone of the application: Device time zone, Server time zone, UTC, Custom.
- Date and time format: Set the date and time format (device or Custom).
- Application theme: Select the application theme: System mode, Light, Dark theme.
- Start screen: Select the Start screen of the app.
Push Notifications Settings
A user can enable/disable the option of getting push notifications created in the TickTrader Win terminal.
- Main account push notifications: Allow getting push notifications.
- Trading account push notifications: turn on/off.
- News and marketing push notifications: turn on/off.
Security & access
A user can set and manage the application passcode and apply the screen auto-lock:
- Change Passcode: Change the app passcode code by entering and confirming the new one.
- Delete Passcode: Delete the passcode code. Note that your login credentials will be removed from the device after having deleted the passcode.
- Passcode lock: Lock the application with a passcode if it is hidden for more than 1 minute.
- Screen auto-lock: Allow to automatically lock the device screen when the application is open.
