With the FXOpen TickTrader widgets for Android devices, you can track current quotes and account balance right from a home screen. Widgets are miniature application views that receive periodic updates.

The indicator shows the connection status of the widget:

•  Green: Connected (online mode).
•  Orange: Connecting.
•  Red: Disconnected or connected in offline mode.
•  Grey: No connection.

You can refresh widget data by tapping Refresh .

Note: You can select different accounts for multiple widgets.

FXOpen Balance

The FXOpen Balance widget displays the balance of assets on the trading account.

To add the FXOpen Balance widget to a home screen:

1. Touch and hold an empty space on a home screen, then tap Widgets.

2. In FXOpen TickTrader widgets, tap Balance. The widget will be added to the home screen.

3. Widget management. To change widget settings, tap it. You can change the following parameters:

   • Trading account: Select trading account.
   • Widget refresh frequency: Specify how often the data is refreshed.
   • Theme: Select widget theme: day or night.

   On the Connection control tab, you can see the status of connection to the selected trading account. Here you can log out from the trading account or go to offline mode.

4. If you successfully connected to the trading account, the widget displays the current balance of assets on the account. Trading account number and last tick time are displayed at the top right. To go to widget settings, tap Management.

FXOpen Quote

The FXOpen Quote widget displays the best current Bid and Ask prices for selected symbols and the change in the Bid price in percent¹. To switch between trading instruments, use arrows.

1. Touch and hold two fingers on a home screen and pinch the screen. Then tap Widgets.

2. In FXOpen TickTrader widgets, tap Quote. The widget will appear on the home screen.

3. Widget management. To change widget settings, tap it. You can change the following parameters:

   • Trading account: Select trading account.
   • Widget refresh frequency: Specify how often the data is refreshed.
   • Theme: Select widget theme: day or night.
   • Symbols: Select trading instruments using the check boxes.

   On the Connection control tab, you can see the status of connection to the selected trading account. Here you can log out from the trading account or go to offline mode.

4. If you successfully connected to the trading account, the widget will display information about the current quotes for the selected symbols: last tick, Bid price change in percent, and the best current Bid and Ask prices. Trading account number and the server name are displayed at the top right. To go to widget settings, tap Management.

Tip: You can add multiple FXOpen Quote widgets to your home screen to watch the quotes of the selected currency pairs without having to open the application. In this case, it's more convenient to use the FXOpen Quotes List widget.

FXOpen Quotes List

The FXOpen Quotes List widget displays the best current Bid and Ask prices for selected symbols and the change in the Bid price in percent¹. This widget is identical to the FXOpen Quote widget. The difference is that the list displays information about all selected symbols, so there is no need to switch between them.

How to resize widgets

You can resize a widget if there is free space on the home screen (except the Quote widget).

To resize a widget:

1. Tap and hold the widget until you see an outline with dots on the sides.

2. Drag the dots to resize the widget.

3. Tap anywhere outside the widget when you've finished. 

Widget connection status on the Accounts screen

You can see the connection status of the widget on the Accounts screen.

To change the connection status, tap .

• Go offline / Switch to online mode: Switch to offline or online mode.
• Logout: Log out from the account.
• Connect: Connect to the account.
