How to make an external transfer

You can transfer funds from your FXOpen account to another trader’s Main account or trading account using External transfer

Available to clients of FXOpen AU and FXOpen Markets only.
  1. Select Transfer → External Transfer in the Client Portal.

  2. Indicate the Main account / email or a trading account of the transfer recipient (registered with FXOpen), and then click Next.

    External transfer to another user's trading account is performed indirectly, i.e. the payment is made to the user Main account first and then is internally transferred to the indicated trading account.
  3. Fill in the form:

    • In the From list, select Main account or one of your trading accounts.
    • Enter the amount you want to transfer and select the account currency.
    • Select the currency of the recipient account (if possible). If the currencies do not match, the funds will be converted at the FXOpen Exchange rate.
    • You can add a comment to the payment if needed.
    • You can save the payment details as a template for future use.
      To do this, enable the Save this payment for future use check box, and then enter the template name in the Save as field. You can set the template as default.

  4. Confirm the transfer in 2 steps:

  5. Click Verify.

    Our Finance Department will process your request within 48 hours. Transfer requests placed on weekends will be processed on Monday.

If you have registered multiple Main accounts within the FXOpen Group (FXOpen Markets Ltd, FXOpen Ltd and FXOpen AU), use the formal procedure for transferring funds between them.

How to cancel a pending transfer request

If your transfer request has not been yet processed (in Pending status), you can cancel it.

Click your Main account number on the left of the Client Portal, find the transaction in the Account Operations/History tab and then click Cancel. 

How to check the transaction status

Click your Main account number on the left of the Client Portal.

The transaction status is shown on the Account Operations/History tab.
