How do I deposit funds through ‘Instant Bank Transfer’?
You are going to make a payment via TrueLayer, a secure authorized institution that acts as a messenger between you and your bank.
Log in to the Client Portal.
Select Add Funds → Electronic Payments → Instant Bank Transfer in the main menu.
Fill in the form:
- To: Select the account to which you want to make a deposit (Main account or a trading account)
- Currency: Select the account currency (for Main account).
- Amount: Enter the deposit amount (min. 50; max 20,000) and deposit currency (GBP/EUR by default).
Click Next.
Select your bank from the list.
Please note, TrueLayer service is available in the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and United Kingdom.
Click Continue.
Scan the QR-code with your phone's camera and make a payment with your online banking app.
Or click Continue on Desktop to pay through your banking application manually.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Make a payment as you normally do using your banking service: authenticate with your bank and confirm the payment.
*This step will differ depending on your bank.
Online payment (authorization) with Santander
That's it! If the payment has been successfully completed, the funds will be instantly credited to your account.
How do I check the payment status & details?
To view the payment details and/or its status, select your Main account number on the left of the Client Portal, and search the transaction in the Account Operations/History table.
You can download a PDF file with the transaction details or view them by clicking Details link.
Note! Pending transactions can be canceled by the user.
Please note that for EU banks, the speed of the Instant Bank Transfer option is subject to individual bank policies; so we cannot guarantee instantaneous transfers.
