Open a trading account

Important: Only ECN trading accounts are currently supported in MetaTrader 5.

Live account

If you are not registered with FXOpen, open a live account first.

To open an ECN (MT5) trading account, select Trading accounts → active tab Trading accounts -> +Add an account  in the Client Portal menu and fill in the form:

1. Select the account type, account currency and leverage.
2. Account details will be displayed on the screen and emailed to you. Make sure to save them in a safe place.
   

Demo account

To open a Demo account  in the Client Portal, please select Trading accounts -> active tab Demo accounts -> +Add a demo account.  Then fill in the form: account type, account currency, leverage and balance. Click Continue.

Log in to a trading account

To log in to a trading account in the MetaTrader 5 desktop terminal:

1. Click Login to Trade Account on the File menu.
2. In the Login window, enter the login and trader password.
3. The Save password option allows you to save your account details.
